6th OCTOBER - DAY 5
On an easy Danish Sunday
On this Sunday we thought we would have spent our time staying with our host families, but Danish students made a surprise to us and took us to a restaurant called “Club Stygge" for a brunch. From 11am to 1pm we spent our time eating and having fun with italian and danish friends. That was the first time we had eaten so much since the trip started, this because it was very nice food and also a lot. In the afternoon we went to the shopping center, looking for some gifts for our italian families. We visited the town of Aalborg too.
After trumbling down the escalators and spending a lot of money, we drank a coffee… bad idea. In the evening all together we watched an italian football match, Inter vs Juve. I think it was a very special day, we laughed a lot and spent beautiful moments.
While part of our friends were having brunch, we were at Selina's in Skørping in the south of the main city Aalborg.
In the morning we all woke up late and we had breakfast with
our hosts. We thought that we wouldn’t have done nothing for the whole day. But
they told us get ready because we were going outside. So at 12
a.m. half of group were in Skørping at one of our host’s house. The other half
went to Club Stygge, a restaurant in the center of Aalborg, to have a brunch
and then some shopping. We waited for everyone and we had lunch with
typical Danish food. After lunch we played some fun game. For example in one game a
person had to tell to the other something to do, the person who had been told
what to do had to say a range of number like 1 to 10, based on the difficulty of
the dare. Then when he had said that there was another person who had to do a
countdown and the other two players had to say the number they were thinking and
if it is the same the player must do the dare. To complete the atmosphere,
Selina put some good Danish music on mixed up with pop and rock one. In the
afternoon we celebrated Karim, who turned 17. In the evening we had hot
dogs for dinner. After a good day spent with our hosts, in games and
laughs, we went back home.
